∆˚¬…10•
Completing the second lot of layouts is ∆˚¬…10•. I got nice of use out of the Craft Robo, it enabled me to make the gird and the rocket silhouette exactly how I wanted. This layout went through several incarnations before I could settle on this one, and i'm happy with the final look I have here.

Today's composition draws inspiration from Philip Reeve's Mortal Engines books, which i'm currently reading.

Woodeye Furniture
Woodeye Furniture is a small company based in East Lothian specialising in bespoke furniture, kitchens and antique restoration.
I really enjoyed creating this piece and playing around with the typeface to make it unique to the brand. The furniture being produced has so much character, the logo is a continuation of its bold and distinctive style [really, this furniture is so impressive and has huge talent behind it].
I've done more reading than making recently so it was ace to get playing with type again. Gonna try and get more type work realised and up shortly!

Two-Face
Right then, My first post of 2010!
An isometric potrait of Two-Face from Batman The Animated Series. This started with a play around with some new graph paper and different levels of hatched triangles to create tonal compositions. Using the hatched triangles to draw Two-Face was a nice experiment and I think the style really suits the character, showing the disfigured side of Harvey Dent's face effectively.
